An expressive yet grounded piece, this medium-sized artwork is layered with handmade textured papers and stained natural cotton rags, all thoughtfully composed on a thick-edged canvas with raw, tactile edges.
Deep umber and earthy khaki tones form the base, rich and moody in palette. Flowing splashes of paint stretch across the cotton and paper layers, creating an emotive contrast against the more neutral, organic textures. The stained rags bring a sense of history and depth, perfectly imperfect and intentionally placed.
